1. General Information on Data Processing:

Scope of processing personal data

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Personal data of our users is generally only processed with the user’s consent. An exception applies in cases where obtaining prior consent is not possible for practical reasons and the processing of data is permitted by law.

Legal basis for processing

Where we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing of personal data, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis. For processing of personal data necessary for the performance of a contract, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR serves as the legal basis. For processing necessary to comply with a legal obligation, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR applies. Where processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not override the former interest, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis.

Data deletion and storage duration

The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage may also take place if this has been provided for by European or national legislators in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted when a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a necessity for further storage for the conclusion or performance of a contract.

2. Provision of the Website and Server Log Files

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer. The following data is collected:

  • Information about the browser type and version used
  • The operating system of the user
  • The user’s internet service provider
  • The IP address of the user
  • Date and time of access
  • Websites from which the user’s system reached our website
  • Websites accessed by the user’s system via our website

This data is also stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user. The legal basis for temporary storage of the data and log files is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. In the case of storage of data in log files, this is the case after no more than seven days.

3. Contact Form and Email Contact

Our website provides a contact form which can be used for electronic contact. If a user takes advantage of this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. These data are:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Company (optional)
  • Subject
  • Message text

At the time the message is sent, the following data is also stored: the IP address of the user, date and time of submission.

Your consent to the processing of data is obtained during the submission process, and reference is made to this Privacy Policy. Alternatively, contact can be made via the email address provided. In this case, the personal data of the user transmitted with the email will be stored.

The legal basis for processing data where the user has given consent is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The legal basis for processing data transmitted in the course of sending an email is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. The data will be deleted when the conversation with the user is concluded — i.e. when the circumstances indicate that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved.

You have the right to rectification and/or completion vis-a-vis the controller, insofar as the processed personal data concerning you is inaccurate or incomplete.

Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR)

You have the right to withdraw your data protection consent declaration at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.

6. Data Security

We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption within website visits in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser, generally 256-bit encryption. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed padlock symbol in your browser’s status bar.

We also use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction, or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
